Women's Program

Gateway House for Women is dedicated to providing quality residential recovery home services to women seeking recovery from the disease of alcoholism and/or drug addiction in a supportive, caring and "home-like" environment, Gateway provides women with the opportunity to live a sober and productive life without alcohol or other drugs.

At Gateway, women learn there is life after recovery and are introduced to tools to help them live life on life's terms. Gateway offers a valuable foundation for a sober lifestyle and helps them re-discover "the joy of living."

Our Mission

Gateway is dedicated to providing gender responsive residential recovery home services to women seeking recovey from the disease of addiction. In a supportive, caring, strength-based, and home-like environment, Gateway provides women with the opportunity to live a sober productive life.

Our residents are supported by a Board of Directors and staff members who are experienced in recovery, transitional living and aftercare programs and provide trauma informed, culturally competent educational and counseling services for women and the significant people in their lives.

Our Program

  • SRH offers 30, 60, and 90 day structured live-in programs
  • We rely on the proven success of the 12 Step approach to recovery. Our residents must attend at least one community-based, 12 Step meeting each day.
  • SRH has daily substance abuse education classes coupled with individual and group meetings designed to teach each man to successfully live "One Day At A Time"
  • Additional sessions are held with clean and sober community members. Here the men learn, first hand, the joys and difficulties involved with starting a new way of life.
  • Residents are required to perform scheduled duties and chores. Through these, the men develop a sense of responsibility, pride in "their house" and begin forming the healthy friendships that, in many cases, may last a lifetime.
